Does anyone know who the M. E. Hester (3/12/1836-3/1926) is that is buried in the Hickory Ridge Cemetary near Florence, MS? My Hester grandparents (Archie & Jenny) are buried there, also my mom Hilda Carney.

Is the Stella Shannon you mention the same Stella
Shannon that was married to a Washington Colquitt
Hesters? He had been married several times(5)
according to what I have. He was also married to a
Stella Hesters(I believe is my aunt).
Does anyone have info on either of these people? The only thing I have is Daniel was born about 1771 to 1774 and died on Sept. 15, 1858. Not sure where he was born he died in PA. His wife was Mary(last name unknown)and she was born about 1775 and died in 1855. Both are said to be burried in PA. My link is Christian Hester, one of thier sons. Born Mach 18, 1798 and wife was Elizabeth as unknown last name but born in 1805 and died about 1849. Thier son Christian M. Hester is my GG grandpa.

I have found a number of researchers who indicate that Mary Delphine Fayard (daughter of Genevieve Ryan and Ursin Fayard) married Stephen Hester who later moved to Cherokee County, Texas. I cannot find any “proof” of this marriage.
As far as that goes, I really have no “proof” that Ursin and Genevieve were her parents.
Does anyone have a document they can share that could be used as a source for either of these pieces of information?

I have information on a Viola Hester Wells that might be of interest to you. The Viola Hester in my family is the daughter of Thomas E and Samantha. She was born 1892 in Florida and died in 1973 in Alabama. Does this match yours?
